They are peeling those tomatillos come hell or highwater. Ezra's the same way about helping me cook in the kitchen. Helping mom "make sugar" is just the best thing ever in his opinion.

It sounds really silly, but your picture w/the cans and the flowers just looks lovely against your blog background. What a motivated person Kit is, and to allow mommy to stray on top of that..WOW, simply brave.Cotyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15187159869859522821noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2740859601979962166.post-70203898291632693422008-03-31T11:01:00.000-05:002008-03-31T11:01:00.000-05:00Yummy! I can remember pains takingly placing every peach and pear in the right spot and facing the right direction. I'm so glad that the little boys are such great helper. I loved the video. Keep them coming!Grammyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09244919430284648455noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2740859601979962166.post-61970635721105212792008-03-30T16:59:00.000-05:002008-03-30T16:59:00.000-05:00I tried my hand at canning last year and did some ...I tried my hand at canning last year and did some strawberry syrup, freezer jam, and some salsa. I think I got the hottest peppers around though (and I didn't wear the right type of gloves) and my hands literally felt like they were on fire for about 12 hours afterwards. I never even tried the salsa after I made it, so who even knows if it will ever be consumed.

This year, I'm determined to try something new, though I'm finding that a lot of vegetables need to be pressure cooked, and I don't have one of those.Merehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11061937289972853721noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2740859601979962166.post-45090548861573899262008-03-30T16:52:00.000-05:002008-03-30T16:52:00.000-05:00WOW! I found it funny what you wrote about the garlic breath. The Odom family LOVES garlic too (maybe a little too much). How great is it that Kit loves to cook? You are soo lucky and I love that your boys are helping. You could tell that they were taking their jobs so seriously. Too cute! Has Kit ever thought about submitting a recipe to the Food Network's Ultimate Recipe Showdown? I really think that he should.Andreahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04320362667931448197noreply@blogger.com
