The Attraction of Batman is Strong...
Gunnison has recently upped his speaking quota. It is, of course, only understandable via Mommy Translation Services, but the increase HAS been noted. One of my favorite words he has acquired is Batman (pronounced batba). Gavin received an Imaginext BatCave from Santa and Gunner loves it. He will come up to me and request "Batba" with the intent to play. This morning I got to see a fun brother-love moment and I thought to share it with you. --- Gunner came running up to me and requested "up". Once I was holding him, he grabbed my cheeks to make sure I was looking at him and asked for "Batba". I said "Sure, I'll get Batman for you" and he quickly wriggled his way to the floor. He headed for the boys' room, but stopped after a couple of steps. He turned around and ran to Josiah, who was standing a few feet away. Gun grabbed his shirt tail and garbled "iah, Batba?" He was asking Jos to play with him! Totally cute!! Josiah said yes, Gunner got a HUGE grin and ran to the boys' room with Josiah following. Ahhh...makes all their goobery-ness this morning okay.

I love it when siblings play together so nicely. Yeah for Gunner talking. Cara is in speech therapy because she refuses to talk. Pretty soon, your boys will have their own club!
batba sounds better than batman anyway...i am going to start saying it that way instead. so cute!
Ahhh. That's so stinking sweet! Jos is such a great older brother. What a cute little brother Gun is too! My heart is just melting for them (sticky-sweet and over the top, I know, yet oh-so-true!)
ps-the other day Ez was "killing monsters into lots of little pieces" with his sword (aka spatula) because he was a knight and it sooo reminded me of something your boys would do. I can't even wait for all the little beasties to play together again!
So cute! We all need some Batba time. :o)
I LOVE when the communication between boys is smooth and loving...really, I'm hardpressed to think of something better.

I just LOVE how much kids LOVE each other! And the cute things they say. Your are right, it really does make all the gooberyness okay :)
When is Josiah's birthday??? I think he and Emily are really really close in age. She is Jan 25, 2003.

I love kid-speak! Gunner is so cute and his BIG personality is hard to contain in such a tiny body.
Mmmm, this is fantastic...thanks for sharing. I too, have a melted heart. I can just picture little Gun's sweet hands pressed to your face asking for "batba". And, then little (BIG) Jos lovingly agreeing to play with his brother. Love it. We all miss you and your family despretely. We are counting down the days...!!
