Do the Do!

SO, I love to have my little boys' hair done. I think it ups their appeal, hides the beastly-ness and distracts the eye from the smooshed fruit-snack mark and chocolate milk dribble on the shirt. I've been struggling to find the right hair product for them, though. Mousse doesn't' hold well enough and most gels leave white powder in their hair, now making them not just beastly, but dirty and beastly. Hmmm...quite the dilemma. So-I was low in hair products at my sis-in-law, Sydnee's, and I borrowed some of theirs. Viola!!! I found the fabulous do-doer!

Garnier Fructis Wet Shine Gel

...seriously, I love this stuff for my boys! It holds their hair wonderfully (with a little hairspray) and doesn't get all white even when they roll their heads around on the floor and couch (yes, this is a common occurrence). Isn't life grand!

Oh, yay! I'm so going to have to try that (maybe I'll just be cheap and try it when we go out there;). Does it not get all flakey even if you put it on dry or only if you style it wet?

Whit-I put it on dry 'cause it holds better. It doesn't get flaky-Try it when you come!

Good info, Lib! I will definitely give it a try on Chase's hair. I'm not the one who usually does his hair, since Uncle Nate is such an expert and pro in that area. I love tips like this!

Ethan's hair lasts about 5 minutes with Brian's "jello" (what he calls gel) in his hair. He looks like such a shaggy dog!

Your boys' hair always looks so good! It's something I've never been good at -- doing their hair, but I've seen that once they discover girls, they spend a lot of time getting their hair just right.

Don't you just love it when you find a new product that works for you 9or your family). I do especially when it is for my frizzy hair. I too love Garnier products, plus they smell good.

A memory that I have of you is your strong testimony of the Savior. I wasn't able to get to know you very well in person in OK, but from our blog relationship, it is extreemly evident that you know and love Jesus Christ. Your testimony has strengthened mine. Thank you!

Hey Liberty, It was such a surprise to see you at the photo place. I found your blog through friends so now maybe we can keep in touch better. Your layout is really cute. I'm glad you can now tame your boys' hair. Merilee twirls hers, so she has limited hairstyles!

Oooo, thanks for the pics in the post below. I love them. It looked like you had fun and that yellow and red (plant?) was beautiful!!
Thank you for your sweet memory. It is funny because I was lying in bed and thinking of some of my favorite memories of you and nearly the same ones...of you popped into my head. Your wedding-you were a breathtaking bride; the birth of little Jos-it was such a exausting experience for you and then...you were a mother. And funny enough, I also thought about the vacuum. You are such a wonderful sister, I am so blessed to have you in my life. I love you and am so grateful to be able to share the ups and downs in life with you.
