Who Needs A Playroom?

One of the first things I noticed since coming back home is how SMALL my home is. For anyone who has visited, picture it with 3 active little boys and you will concur. It has been raining off and on every day we've been back, so even my large, fenced backyard isn't really an asset now-especially without Mimi's enticing play set. Not quite sure what to do with the beasties underfoot, Josiah came up with a brilliant plan--sans Mom. Unbeknown to me, he and Gavin gathered as many toys as they could and moved them into their morning bath. Viola! A new playroom! I had to snap a few when I brought Gunner in for his morning wash.

Note: I'm not sure why, but whenever I take pics, Gun always seems to be frightened!

So cute! I know that my house feels really small when it rains...especially with a 6 year-old who wants to swim in the pool...

I just realized how much I have really missed your blog. So glad you're back! Your boys are so cute. They are absolutely right---just like life, a playroom is where and what you make it!

I'm sure that little bathtub was crammed tight w/all those beasties-plastic and otherwise! They're so cute, even frightened-looking Gunner!

How funny! I love the stratigically placed dinosaurs. :) Gunner doesn't look frightened, just really interested at what is going on. :) I must say, I can concur on a house feeling very small and cramped when it is raining out and three little ones are at home...can anyone say nap-time??

I am glad you are back and posting on your blog again. Your blog is my favorite because it is so down to earth. Love the pictures. It is hard to imagine that one day I might have 3 of my own.
