It's Autumn Time!

I love the fall. It is by far my favorite season. Down here we don't get a great fall, but a girl can dream, right? To make me feel more in the season, I decided to decorate-quite the feat for me. I haven't really had the desire or energy to do much lately, so what little I did was a fabulous accomplishment. So, I wanted to share them with you. I actually found the little flower wreath at Walmart and I wired it and a berry strand to a grape-vine wreath I had. It plumped it up a bit and added more demension. I was pleased with the result. I'm not really talented in the flower arranging area and it would have looked better with a bow, but I am SO not capable of making beautiful bows...so my wreath is unadorned. I also took a little time to primp and prime my little ghosties and my cheap mums in their flower box. I was excited for the feel of fall around my home. I also hope Kit will find it to be a fun little sprucing up for his return home.

Lib, that looks amazing! And you say you have no talent in the flower arranging area...baloney! It looks gorgeous, and will be a great welcome home to Kit.

How festive! For someone who doesn't feel like they decorate well - you do a GREAT job! I love the mums and the "ghosties", so cute! Feel free to come to OH and help me decorate - I've been slacking off this year!

You are way to humble and way too hard on yourself. I think you have the cutest house always and I LOVE your wreath, your ghosties etc. You are such a great decorator. I wish I had just a little bit of your talent. When I get my door decorated, I'll have to show you what bad looks like, really. LOL.

Looks great! Better than my front porch and doorway. The only hint of fall here in Bountiful is the shorter days. It's been really warm this week, guess I can't complain too much because it will probably snow next week!

I love your wreath!! I miss the autumn in Logan, especially when I lived in San Diego since it is basically Spring year round there. I am hoping that the trees here in Houston (those with leaves left after Ike) turn colors for me!!!

I l.o.v.e your new wreath!! I am super-impressed!! It looks so beautiful! You really did a wonderful job. Your mums and ghosts are fantastic. Knowing Kit, he will love that you have been crafting in his absence...he'll love the decorations. Yippee for today--I've been thinking about him coming home!!

I LOVE them! It's such a cute little porch area! Look at you, Miss Crafty! I'm uber-impressed with your wreath-half the craftiness is just seeing the potential in something like a scrawny (yet cute) wal-mart wreath. Go you!
