Boots. These $1.50 rain boots are Gunnison's favorite footwear. I bought them for him at the beginning of fall. Due to nice weather, they were tucked away into our black bench. As the weather worsened, so did Gun's desire to wear them. Finally, I couldn't say no and The Boots became an essential part of his wardrobe. In fact, I would say the only pair of footwear he wears (except for Sunday shoes...I do have some boundaries, people). Easy on. Easy off. Helps hide the jammies poking out the bottom of his jeans...can't say I complain too much.

It's fun to see what accesories that our children latch onto. My son loves water hoses. He's currently obsessed with the yellow water hose that we don't have but he keeps asking for...yet, his birthday IS coming up. :)
That's great. I love how kids attach themselves to some favorite piece of clothing.
Oh, how I love that little boy!!!
Boots are all the rave this year... he's just a trend setter!
I'm actually really, really jealous. Ahhh...so very, very easy to put on and take off all on his own. I can't quite bring myself to let Ezra wear his snow boots for anything but snow play specifically...but the temptation is definitely there :P
ps-I would totally wear my jammies under all my clothes if I could get away from it. Who want to feel harsh ol' denim when they can have a nice cozy cushion of flannel instead? I'd say Gun is definitely onto something.
...now I'm beginning to wonder if maybe I'm to blame for Ezra's clothing "issues" actually ;)
I remember one of my best friends little brother got into wearing his socks pulled up over his pant legs. He'd stretch them almost to his knees. That little guy was very smart and grew up and joined the church while he was in college. Sometimes these "funny" things are a way of a vey intelligent mind expressing itself. I say keep you boundary fences tight, but give him a large pasture to play in.
