I made it...although the last five steps were made with clenched thighs.
How can a grown girl of 31 almost not make it to the porcelain throne? I am a habitual procrastinator. Now, I don't procrastinate big things. No, I pay the bills on time, I plan church lessons, and buy birthday gifts/cards on time. In fact, I'm often early! No, no, I just procrastinate little things like the niggling of a full bladder. I procrastinate the quick run to the post office-leaving the gifts and cards languishing unsent on my counter. I often receive quick thoughts to send a card or a give a call to check on a friend, but they pass just as quickly, momentarily unheeded by my procrastinating self. I wonder what good I could accomplish if I would slow down (or speed up) to pay attention to such thoughts, trips to the post, and taking the time to run to the loo.
I definitely wouldn't have written this post 3 days after the experience! ;)

That is so funny. I actually just emailed someone total nonsense because I had been thinking about her and wanted to follow through and touch base. I am horrible about getting stuff mailed, even if I have it packed. D has had a box for Kit in his car for three months now. I know all our family's birthdays, talk about it for weeks, and drop the ball. Sigh. I still have hope I will improve.
Ha! That is too funny! I'm sure giving birth to 4 kids didn't help things along. I do that all the time, but then I'm reminded had bad I have to go when I sneeze and then, whoops! It's happened more than once, and unfortunately I've been in public. I haven't had full bladder release, thank goodness! But I've come close!
I have had that happen before and it's super uncomfortable! So glad you made it, otherwise, well, you probably wouldn't have posted this post. ;)
Oh, I've so been there! So glad you made it in time!
As you well know, I'm a hoooorible procrastinator too. I just need to take a breath and get it done, already!
