Thankful for Freedom

Today I am so very thankful (as many of you are) for the wonderful country we live in. I am thankful for those who have fought and died to protect the rights of men and those who have fought and lived to stand as testimony to our need to protect those rights. I am also so very thankful for the fathers, mothers, wives and children who let their loved ones go with their support. How blessed we are!!

So true! I've been thinking about Grandpa H off and on all day. I'm thankful too for men like Kit who watch over and protect us here at home. If there's ever a hurricane or raging lake storm in my area, he's the guy to call ;)

Absolutely!! If we didn't have people who choose to serve our country and protect our rights...who could possibly make the ultimate sacrifice...we wouldn't have the country we have today. I am so grateful we have the rights and the freedoms only because there are those who have sacrificed to serve.

I too am so grateful for this beautiful country that we call home. For those past and present have served us. Those who have made this the land of the free and the home of the braved. I love you Kit, for your willingness serve and for the pride with which you do your job. You make us all very proud!
